Emergency Physician
Meet Dr. Doug Coffman, physician-owner and emergency medicine physician at Fort Smith ER & Hospital. He began his professional medical career after he graduated from Baylor University. He then completed medical school at The University North Texas Health Science Center and his residency at Oklahoma State University Emergency Medicine Hillcrest Health Center.
Over his tenure, he has served as a residency director at Southwest Medical Center Emergency Medicine and as medical director for over five years at St. Anthony Hospital Emergency Room.
In his time beyond the emergency room, Dr. Coffman enjoys being with his family – wife Llana, daughters Skye and Brie, son Baylor, and grandkids Saylor and Crew. He loves carpentry, building homes, and making furniture. He credits his entire career to the direction his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, provided.
