Emergency Physician
Dr. Sasi Sundaram is an experienced emergency medicine physician currently practicing at Fort Smith ER and Hospital. He earned his medical degree from Madras Medical College in Chennai, India, in 1998. Following this, he completed his residency in Family Medicine at UAMS Fort Smith and went on to complete a one-year fellowship in Emergency Medicine at Sparks Regional Medical Center in Fort Smith.
Since 2007, Dr. Sundaram has been practicing emergency medicine at several hospitals across Sebastian, Crawford, and Benton counties. He holds active medical licenses in Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas.
Dr. Sundaram and his wife, Rashmi, have made Fort Smith their home and are proud parents to two daughters. Outside of medicine, Dr. Sundaram is passionate about real estate development. He is a licensed commercial and residential builder and owns a construction company based in Northwest Arkansas. In his free time, he enjoys international travel and reading about economics and finance and often says he would have pursued a career in banking if not for his calling in medicine.
