The nomination and votes by the Fort Smith community highlight the hospital’s success in reaching its mission early on – commitment to a patient-first, healthy community marks the ER as a standout of excellence in the Fort Smith area and beyond.

The annual Fort Smith Community Choice Awards recognizes more than 510 businesses and organizations in the local area for their exceptional dedication, service, and impact on the community. The community members are given the chance to nominate local businesses in over 100 categories, where the top five are voted on to win the “best of the best” awards.
Fort Smith ER & Hospital placed in the top three out of five major hospital systems.
