FORT SMITH, Ark. (Oct. 29, 2024) – Fort Smith ER & Hospital is thrilled to announce that it won gold in the ‘Best Place to Work’ category, along with silver in the ‘Best Hospital’ and ‘Best Customer Service’ categories at the Best of River Valley Awards held this October. These awards reflect the facility’s dedication to excellence in healthcare and its positive impact on the community.
The annual Best of River Valley Award hosted by River Valley Democrat-Gazette recognizes, honors, and celebrates the top businesses and organizations in the River Valley region for their exceptional dedication, service, and impact within the community. Fort Smith ER & Hospital was nominated and voted on by the public, standing out among over 400 businesses, including larger hospital systems in the Western Arkansas and Eastern Oklahoma region.

Fort Smith ER & Hospital excelled in three categories at the Best of the River Valley Awards. The facility won gold in the “Best Place to Work” category for under 100 employees. For the second consecutive year, it earned silver in the “Best Hospital” category, as well as silver in the “Best Customer Service” category. These achievements solidify the hospital’s reputation as a trusted medical care provider, offering accessible services without the barriers typically found in traditional hospital settings.
